What?
The Idea
Your Retreat Investment Includes:
A Boutique Retreat for Dance Studio Owners.
Ready to Step Away, Get Clear and Move Forward?
This is not another crowded conference filled with generic advice.
The DSO Collective Retreat is an intimate, carefully curated experience created for dance studio owners who are ready to pause, reconnect and focus on what their studio—and their life—needs next.
You will not spend the weekend sitting in a ballroom listening to presentation after presentation.
You will be part of an intimate group where your voice is heard, your questions are addressed and your goals help shape the experience.
Running a dance studio can feel incredibly rewarding—and incredibly lonely.
You spend so much time supporting your dancers, families and staff that it can be difficult to find the time and space to think about your own vision.
This retreat gives you permission to step away from the daily demands of your studio and surround yourself with other owners who truly understand the work you do.
Over the course of the retreat, you will experience meaningful conversations, personalized guidance, practical workshops, beautiful accommodations and plenty of space to breathe.

What We Will Actually Talk About
This isn't one-size-fits-all. Your application tells us where you're stuck and where you're strong, and we shape the four days around what the room actually needs.
It's also not us lecturing at you for four days. Everyone in the house gets time to share what's winning in their studio, too — not just what's hard. Some of the best ideas you'll walk away with will come from another owner at the table, not from us.
No agenda packed with speakers. Instead, real conversations about the stuff that keeps you up at night:
-
Staff management and retention
-
Enrollment and marketing that actually works
-
Competition teams and performance companies
-
Student-teacher training programs
-
Studio culture and leadership
-
Growth strategy — and knowing when not to grow
-
Work-life balance (or the ongoing search for it)
-
Exit planning: what it takes to eventually walk away
Some of this will happen in planned discussion blocks. Most of it will happen over coffee, by the pool, or at 11pm when someone finally says the thing they've been sitting on all year.

What This Isn't
-
Not a conference. No stage, no sponsors.
-
Not a vacation. You'll work — just in flip flops or bare feet.
-
Not open enrollment. Five studios, 10 seats filled with care.
-
Not about DSO Collective. It's about the room.
(There will, however, be swag. We're not monsters.)
The Setting
A waterfront vacation home in Cape Coral, Florida — private, comfortable, and built for a group this size to actually live together for four days. Shared meals on the lanai, a pool and hot tub, a dock for quiet mornings, and enough room to break off into smaller conversations when you need to.
The Investment
Pricing depends on room selection within the house. Full pricing and room options will be shared with applicants directly.
Limited spots. Four days. Applications open 7/21/2026
Hosted By:
DSO Collective is Robin Snyder-Wiencek, Holly Brucker, and Tami Bisbee — three studio owners and consultants who've been hosting retreats for DSOs, and for our own teams, since 2019.
We built this because the real conversations — the ones that actually move a studio forward — keep happening in rooms like this one. We see it in our free Facebook community, DSO Collective Chat. We see it on our monthly Wine Down Wednesday and Coffee Chat calls.
We're all about community and real talk, and this retreat is that same thing, over four full days.
